Interactive motion design for Calidris 28’s hot and exciting energy drink known as ‘Schwarze Dose’. Far far tastier than Red Bull and the likes.

PROCESS

Experimental fluid sculpting in Real Flow. Rendered in a studio setup built in Maya with Mental Ray (got to love the mia_x material).

Post and ‘final art’ done in After Effects.

Had some pro-bono work comin’ up, however I ended up dumping this idea totally and the result will pop up here in a while.

PROCESS

Maya — Photoshop — Scanner

2D/3D animation for a little website widget, calculating direct advertising target groups and efficiency.

The guys over at Trapcode (hey hey), had just released Form, wich was critical for this abstract concept. I was at first pretty close to doing this in Maya (simple as hell) but the rendertimes are seldom worth it (even with intense optimization). So I tried Form, and lo and behold, 4,000,000 particles spread across 4 layers and wham! Abstract fabric is complete.

PROCESS

After Effects with Trapcode Form

Trying out a studio setup built in Maya using very basic (not) shaders and lighting.

PROCESS

Only mia_x material used, with Mental ray Area Lights and
Photon-spots for Caustics and GI.

3D-animation and VFX for Telia Klacksvenskan; an interactive campaign where the user called a hotline and sang along with other supporters. The megaphone could be moved around onscreen changing angle (thanks to a smart use of frame-distribution in the renderingprocess).

PROCESS

Modeling, lighting, texturing of elements and megaphones in Maya, compositing in Photoshop and After Effects and finally compressed and optimized for interaction in Flash.
